Teacher of English

Start: January 2021

Full Time

Salary: MPR GBP25,714 - GBP36,961

The Hampshire based school are seeking an inspirational class practitioner(s) with strong subject knowledge to join their successful English department, on a full-time basis to commence in January 2021.  The school are looking to appoint an individual who is or has the potential to be an outstanding practitioner and has the necessary skills, attributes, and passion to create a love of learning English. The school was judged to be outstanding in 2013 and Ofsted said ‘Students clearly enjoy learning. They appreciate and thrive on the carefully tailored and inspirational opportunities that the school provides.’

Ideally you will:

  • Be a dedicated leader keen to engage students with your passion for the subject
  • Share and enforce the school’s values of ‘Enjoy, Respect and Achieve’
  • To plan, and prepare courses for interesting, challenging, and motivating lessons
  • Have high expectations of self and students to raise achievement                                                              
  • Develop students’ resilience and independence through motivated school principles and monitor their personal and academic growth
  • To use appropriate differentiation in delivering a broad balanced curriculum for students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
