Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf on a large secondary school in St Albans who are looking for an English teacher to join them on as soon as possible. T

Located on the edge of the lovely historic Cathedral City of St Albans the school is close to superb transport links situated only a few miles from the M25, M1 and A1 and close to fast main line train links to London. In January 2015 the Ofsted report said that we were good in all areas inspected and they are set within a a lovely 15 acre site with countryside on three sides making this a picturesque place to work.

Set in beautiful grounds with extensive facilities this unique school is a great place to work and begin OR continue your professional development as CPD courses are offered frequently wheter you are a permanent or supply member of staff.

About the role;

Teaching through to key stage 4

Working 1:1 with students who need extra support

Full time teaching role

Ideally would like their new teacher to take on a form group

Working on the AQA exam board

They have recently began a partnership with the St Albans Music School, part of the Hertfordshire Music Service, who operate from our purpose built music suite and also deliver our music teaching, organise our visiting music specialist teachers and tuition, and provide extra-curricular music - such as choirs, bands, orchestra, wind groups etc.

A state-of-the-art Discovery and Independent Learning Centre that also houses our library and some of our extensive computing faculties - including 50 additional wireless laptop computers for use in the Independent Learning Centre

A dedicated modern Technology Centre with two lovely fully-equipped food technology rooms and refurbished electronics and resistant material areas/workshops.

A modern fully resourced and dedicated Sixth Form Centre with private study rooms, computer room with student Wi-Fi computer access, teaching rooms, seminar rooms, and a comfortable Post-16 student common room/social area

Picnic and landscaped areas with outdoor seating and two canteens.

A 25 metre heated indoor swimming pool.
