Full-time English teacher required for Wigan based secondary school, May 2019 start (or sooner if possible).

Teaching Personnel are working in collaboration with a 11-16 comprehensive secondary school situated in central Wigan to appoint an inspirational English teacher to join their team from May 2019 or earlier if possible. Due to an upcoming open vacancy within the faculty, this position will be guaranteed for twelve months initially, with the prospect of securing a permanent position with the school next academic year.

- Full-time English teacher required.

- English teachers of all experience levels are welcome to apply with the relevant support provided for the successful applicant.

- £23,720 - £39,406 per annum (experience dependent).

- Previous experience teaching across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four is required.

- Located in central Wigan, accessible via the A580 (East Lancashire Road).

Our partner secondary school has recently refurbished the English faculty, resulting in state of the art classrooms and learning spaces. The incoming English teacher will have their own classroom and learning space for project and group work outside of the classroom.

The school are committed to the continued professional development of all staff, and it is expected that the successful English teacher will partake in weekly CPD sessions, and departmental meetings for collaborative planning and marking.

Situated in the centre of Wigan, our client secondary school has an abundance of public transportation links within walking distance from the school gates. For drivers, the school can be reached via the A580 (East Lancashire Road) and the M6 near to Orrell. English teachers without transport can access the school from Leigh, Warrington and Rivington.
