English Teacher – Wellingborough – September Start
Full-Time | Long-Term | Secondary School Position

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Wellingborough area to recruit a passionate and committed English Teacher to start in September. This is a full-time, long-term role that offers the opportunity to become an integral part of a supportive and forward-thinking department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a key role in developing students' reading, writing, and critical thinking skills, while fostering a love for literature and language. The department is well-resourced, and there is a strong focus on collaboration and continuous professional development.

This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers (ECTs) looking to begin or further their teaching career in a dynamic and encouraging environment. You must hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent overseas qualification, along with relevant classroom experience.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong subject knowledge in English Literature and Language
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
