English Teacher

- English Teacher (KS3/KS4)
- Start a full-time position at a large secondary school
- NQTs and experienced teachers welcome
An Ofsted “Good” secondary school located in Tonbridge is seeking to appoint an English teacher with a proven track record of pupil progress to join their supportive and welcoming English department. The school will offer a generous provision of timetabled lessons which will give you the opportunity to truly go above and beyond basic English teaching to fully extend the academic potential of the pupils.

Person Specification
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of delivering English Literature and/or English Language to KS4
- The ability to differentiate lesson material and tailor learning to particular pupil needs
- A proven track record of improving attainment
- Suitable school-based references
- Have and up to date DBS with the Update Service/be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS
- A willingness to undertake CPD and contribute to the wider school life
