Teaching Personnel are working with a partner school in the Stockport area to find an English Teacher for the upcoming academic year. The role is due to start in September 2023 and will run until the end of the school year.

Any English specialist holding QTS can look forward to:

Our client is looking for someone with a drive to help young people and a real passion for the English Language, the successful applicant will also take on full planning and marking responsibilities along with taking part in parents evening. We are considering applicants of all experience levels whether you are an ECT looking to build your experience in a great school or a seasoned educator looking for a change of environment and the new challenges that come with it.

The successful applicant must look to raise the bar for the English department and lesson quality, our client’s latest Ofsted report highlights the Leadership’s commitment to constantly improve the quality of education and academic achievement for pupils.

You must also be confident when working with children with SEN requirements, always ensuring they have been provided with appropriate work and are receiving the correct support. It will also be your responsibility to liaise with support staff to help identify students who would benefit from extended support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
