English Teacher - Sheffield (S6) Outstanding School

We are looking for a Teacher of English to work in one of our partnership schools on either a full-time or part-time (2 days) basis following the Easter holidays. The successful English Teacher will join a warm and welcoming staffing team who are committed to inclusion, ensuring all pupils receive the opportunity to excel and develop.

The English department at this school have a pool of staff who are highly experienced, and the department collaboratively share tailored resources and activities. You will be committed to department meetings where you will discuss pupils progression and achievements, and you will work as a team to develop new ideas on how to support pupils academic enhancement.

The successful candidate will:

  •  Be confident teaching classrooms of up to 30 students, with students of all learning abilities
  • Be hardworking, dedicated and inspiring
  • Be able to work productively as part of a team, as well as an individual
  • Have excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Work with a resourceful and skillful team, with a supportive senior leadership team

The successful English Teacher must have QTS, recent English teaching experience and the availability to commit to a full time teaching role.

The length of this role is to be confirmed, but on the initial basis it will be until December 2024.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
