English Teachers, are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity?

At the Secondary branch of Teaching Personnel Sheffield, we are currently recruiting for a English teacher for a secondary school within the Chesterfield area. The school has a welcoming and friendly environment, and they are looking for a professional and punctual person to join their welcoming team.

The Role

-          Delivering engaging and interactive lessons to students of various abilities across KS3/KS4

-          Create a supportive and nurturing environment to support students educational development, occasionally providing 1:1s to students requiring specialist support.

-          Monitoring student progress, ensuring targets are reached and creating effective strategies for improvement.

-          Working with colleagues to establish lesson plans that follow the national curriculum and the schools’ objectives.

-          Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a positive and collaborative learning community

Requirements

-          Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent

-          Experience teaching English Language/Literature or an English based degree

-          An enhanced DBS on the update service

-          A passion for ensuring students achieve their academic goals
