English Teacher

An opportunity for an enthusiastic Teacher of English to join a 'Good' secondary school in the Redruth Area teaching both Language and Literature up to GSCE level.

• MPS/UPS dependent on experience (GBP24,373-GBP40,490)
• Working in a supportive English department
• Experience working with a range of pupils with the aim of raising attainment
• Great location, based near the A30, accessible via transport links

The school are looking to find an experienced Teacher of English, but newly qualified English Teachers (NQTs) are also welcome to apply for this position. The suitable candidate will ideally have experience in the following;

• Planning, assessing and delivering a range of engaging lessons that are inclusive for all abilities
• Classroom behaviour management strategies
• Experience teaching English to Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four, in a variety of school settings
