Part time English Teacher
September 2019
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a School in the Portsmouth area to recruit and English Teacher for 2 days a week. You will be an experience practitioner confident in delivering English Literature and English Language to KS3 and KS4.
As a core subject, English is a well looked after department with specialist Teachers who are experts in their knowledge and teaching practise. The School firmly believes that quality English lesson help students to succeed in their other subjects. Students learn many transferable skills that help them in writing based tasks in school and in their future career. The ability to communicate in writing is essential for students in their future education also, and the department is keen to pass on their enthusiasm for the subject but also essential skills for the future.
The Schools most recent Ofsted report commented on the Head Teachers ability to lead effectively with determination. With support from its senior leadership team, the Head ensures that staff have high expectations of pupils. It is because of the Heads strong focus that this school has been improving steadily and is a now has a solid faculty with pupils enjoying school and the rich activities within.
