A dynamic secondary school in Poole is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team starting in April 2024.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and innovative teaching strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a strong school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in English Education.
  • Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
