Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on the behalf of our high achieving client secondary academy in Nottingham who are looking to recruit a teacher of English on a temporary basis starting in January 2021 for 2 terms. This will be a temporary, long-term position, teaching English across KS3, KS4 and KS5 students, however, has the opportunity for a permanent contract for the successful candidate.
The role
- Full time position
- You will be required to teach English to secondary school pupils between the ages of 11-18 years (KS3, KS4 and KS5)
- Preparing and planning for lessons with marking required
- Following and promoting the school curriculum and pushing for highest attainment
- Competitive rates of pay (after 12 weeks: AWR rate, paid to the scale the school would pay at directly)
Requirements for the role
- Must have QTS and experience teaching English to A Level
- Strong behaviour management
- Will have excellent subject knowledge and a desire to provide the best education to pupils
- Will be required to apply for a Child Workforce DBS, if you do not already have one on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
