English Teacher - Derby - September 2020

A Requires Improvement secondary school are seeking a qualified English teacher to join them on a full-time basis for September 2020, with the view of being offered a permanent contract for the right candidate.

The role:

  • Full-time English Teacher
  • Starting in September 2020, with the view for a permanent contract
  • Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply for this position as all relevant induction support will be provided
  • Must hold specific subject qualifications in Science.
  • Teaching a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and GCSE
  • Full planning and marking responsibilities.
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490 per annum).

Working as an English teacher in our client school, you will be expected to support with the development of Schemes of Work in line with the National Curriculum for Science alongside planning, preparing and delivering Science lessons to meet the needs of students at various levels of learning.

Our client secondary school is looking for an English teacher who can aid pupils’ attainment alongside promoting positive behaviour management in line with the school policies.  

Our client school is located in Derby and can be accessed via the M1 and A609 from surrounding areas such as Kimberley and Stapleford. For non-drivers, there are several public transportation links from surrounding areas including Long Eaton.
