English Teacher – Permanent Role in Bristol
Position: English Teacher
Location: Bristol
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Salary: MPS/UPS + potential TLR for the right candidate
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available)
A well-established secondary school in Bristol is seeking a passionate and committed English Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and high-achieving department within a school that fosters academic success and personal growth.
The Role:
- Delivering engaging and well-structured English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students (KS5 available for experienced candidates).
- Encouraging a love of literature and developing strong literacy skills across all year groups.
- Assessing and tracking student progress to ensure all learners achieve their full potential.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum development.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Have experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
- Be a passionate educator with a commitment to student success.
- Possess excellent subject knowledge and a track record of improving attainment.
- Be eager to contribute to the wider school community and ongoing professional development.
