Contract: Full Time

Start date: April 2026

A welcoming and well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis.

The school is looking for a passionate educator who can deliver engaging and inclusive English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of language and literature while supporting students of varying abilities to reach their full potential. You will be joining a supportive English department with a strong focus on collaboration and high-quality teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Have experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4

  • Be able to plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons

  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Be committed to raising attainment and inspiring students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
