English Teacher

A forward-thinking secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking to appoint a passionate and committed Teacher of English to join their department from Easter 2026.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced teachers. The school is proud of its supportive English department, strong leadership team and a shared commitment to raising standards and fostering a love of literature and language.

This role would suit an enthusiastic teacher who can inspire students of all abilities, plan creative and well-structured lessons, and contribute positively to the wider life of the school. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
