A vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Bournemouth is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join their dedicated team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire a love of English language and literature across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in English Language and Literature to KS3 and KS4 students.

Assess and monitor student progress effectively, providing clear feedback to support learning.

Contribute to the development of schemes of work and enrichment activities within the English department.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to foster a positive and respectful learning environment.

Maintain high expectations of behaviour and academic achievement.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

A degree in English or a related subject.

A strong understanding of the English curriculum and recent educational developments.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
A commitment to inclusion and the ability to engage and motivate all learners.

A reflective approach to teaching and a desire to contribute to whole-school improvement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
