Teacher of English - Blackpool

An 'Good' secondary school in Blackpool are looking to appoint a passionate Teacher of English. The position is to start in September to cover a maternity leave, with the view for the position to become permanent, depending on the return of the post holder.
The school has high expectations in all they do, learning, behaving, achieving and they all, children and adults, strive to always reach their full potential. NQTs/RQTs are also encouraged to apply.
Interviews will be held week commencing 15th July.
Candidates must:
- Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
- Have previous experience in teaching English at Keystage 3 and 4
- Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
- Demonstrate excellent subject and curriculum knowledge
- Plan and teach well-structured lessons
- Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
- Make accurate and productive use of assessment
