A top performing state school are recruiting now for an English NQT to join their outstanding team of staff and begin work in September 2018. This traditional school has a modern feel and boasts some of the largest grounds in the Lewisham borough. Achievement is high, and students work well with their teacher and peers, English is the the top performing department in the school so you can be assured you are joining a remarkable team.

As an English NQT you will be fully supported as a new member of the team and you will be assigned a mentor from within the English department who was recently commended by Ofsted following a HMI inspection. The successful English NQT will take part in a full induction which will include other newly qualified teachers that join the school.

Your role will involve teaching fantastic English lessons to GCSE level there is also an opportunity for you teach within the sixth form. The school ensures that all staff have access to the latest resources, and they are fully equipped with modern technology to ensure that you have everything you need to deliver the best quality lessons you can.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
