English Intervention Tutor

Join a small secondary school based in Salford, providing literacy support for low-attaining pupils.

• English Intervention Tutor.
• Part-time role with flexible working hours.
• Required from September 2020 or earlier.
• Supporting pupils across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
• Must have knowledge of English curriculum.
• Earn up to GBP25 per hour.

Our client school is based in a modern building and is smaller than most with around 650 pupils on roll. The school is known for its strong behaviour policies and in-depth induction for new staff.

The incoming English Intervention Tutor will be working with identified pupils who are performing below their target grades and need additional support to reach their full potential.

The sessions will mostly take place during the school day with the occasional request for after school sessions. The school has a designated area for tuition and intervention to take place.

Some students may have learning difficulties such as dyslexia and any previous experience in this area is desirable.

The school can be accessed via the A580 and M62 motorway and via several public transport routes from areas such as Bolton, Worsley and central Manchester.
