Teaching Personnel will help you gain the necessary training, experience, and introduction to secondary schools across the Wigan LEA. Your role may be varied however we will offer work in line with your current experience and will offer the support to progress onto more challenging opportunities such as Cover Supervising.
Once you have gained the necessary experience it is likely we will secure a position whereby you can assist with intervention sessions for students on the lead up to key GCSE examinations. There may be opportunities to assist with lesson cover during the absence of any internal teaching staff however training and the relevant experience and support required will be put in place.
This is perfect for anyone considering a teaching course in the future and will offer you excellent networking opportunities across several excellent schools in the local area.
Applicants are required to.
- Hold or be willing to apply for a DBS certificate.
- Be able to provide references from their 2 most recent places of employment and or character references.
- Have a strong desire to work with students of all ability levels.
- Be mindful of social distancing in schools and maintain new rules in line with Covid regulations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
