Education Recruitment Consultant - Swansea desk - based Cardiff

Teaching Personnel South Wales are looking for an education recruitment consultant to join our high performing team and support our Business Manager in servicing schools in Swansea, Neath, Carmarthen, Llanelli and Pembrokeshire. We are looking for an ambitious individual who can work on their own initiative to drive business and recruit good quality candidates. The role is based full time in Cardiff but does involve one/two days a week recruiting candidates in Swansea and visiting schools in the West Wales area. Applicants must be able to drive and have access to a car for this reason.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent quality customer service to Primary, Secondary and SEN schools across South and West Wales
  • Recruiting excellent quality candidates (teaching assistants, cover supervisors and teachers)
  • Personally interviewing candidates for potential roles
  • Completing rigorous recruitment and vetting checks for all candidates
  • Sales and business development within using and non-using schools
  • Working collaboratively with the business manager assisting in recruitment
  • Attending recruitment events to attract new candidates
  • Social media profile management

  • Efficient and detailed conscious
  • Resilient and able to work well in challenging environments

As mentioned above, the role is 42.5 hours a week with a 7am start, based in Cardiff and due to start in August.
