The Role:
As a Graduate Trainee Teacher, you will start by gaining valuable classroom experience, working closely with experienced teachers to learn essential teaching and classroom management skills. You will assist with lesson planning, support students with their learning, and gradually take on more responsibility as you build confidence and experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting teachers in delivering lessons across various subjects at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Assisting with lesson planning, resource preparation, and classroom activities.
- Working with individual students or small groups to provide additional academic support.
- Gaining practical experience in classroom management, student engagement, and lesson delivery.
- Gradually increasing your involvement in teaching, with the potential to lead parts of lessons.
