Early Years Teaching Assistant Needed | Reception | Central Bristol | Full Time | ASAP Start
A lovely primary school in Central Bristol is on the lookout for a dedicated Reception Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full time role working within a warm and supportive EYFS setting.

About the Role:
You will be based in the Reception class, working alongside the class teacher and EYFS lead to support children through their first year of school. Your days will be varied and rewarding, helping to deliver creative, hands-on learning experiences while supporting children as they develop new skills, friendships and confidence.
Day to day, you will:
• Support the delivery of play-based learning activities
• Help children develop their communication, social and early literacy skills
• Assist with classroom routines and transitions throughout the day
• Prepare resources and help maintain an engaging learning environment
• Encourage positive behaviour and support children's emotional wellbeing
• Work closely with colleagues, parents and carers to support each child's progress
About You
You will be someone who:
• Has experience working with children in Early Years or Reception
• Understands the EYFS curriculum and how young children learn best
• Is calm, patient and nurturing in your approach
• Communicates well with children and adults alike
• Enjoys being part of a team and brings a positive attitude each day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
