Early Years Teaching Assistant needed - Kensal Rise

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking exceptional teaching assistants to join a lovely Primary School in the borough of Brent. The school are looking for support staff who can hit the ground running in January. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates who are considering a career within Education.

About the School:

This is a three-form entry school located in Kensal Rise and is approximately a 7minute walk from Kensal Rise over-ground station and approximately a 10 minute walk from Kensal Green underground station. The school are currently looking for 2 excellent teaching assistants who can provide general and some one-to-one support in their lovely Reception classes. This school is dedicated to ensuring that all pupils are well equipped to attend secondary school.

About the role:

This role entails working alongside the classroom teacher with the preparation and planning of learning resources and activities. As a teaching assistant you will be required to work directly with pupils who require additional support with their Numeracy and Literacy skills. There are a number of children who have English as an Additional language so you will also be required to work with pupils on a 1:1 basis to improve their use and understanding of the English Language. This is a full-time position however, we are able to offer daily teaching assistant supply in the borough of Brent.

The ideal candidate:

- Undergraduate with a 2:1 minimum preferred but not necessary.

-At least some experience working with children which includes; Nannying, Tutoring, Coaching etc.

-A minimum of grade A-C in GCSE Maths and English desired

-Passionate about pursuing a career in Teaching.
