Early Years Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 with a child in Reception at a mainstream primary school. The role will be full time starting in September, located in the L10 area of Liverpool. The school has been rated 'Good'by Ofsted, and there is a strong support network within the school. We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who also has expereience working with children in Early Years with challenging behaviour.

Your duties will include:

• Undertaking tasks set by the class teacher
• Supporting the pupil’s learning within the class
• Building up rapport between yourself and the pupil
• Working with the pupil on a 1:1 basis
• Helping the pupil feel comfortable and calm

To apply for this position, you will need:

• Recent experience of working in a Mainstream classroom/or experience of working with children with special educational needs (SEN) in an educational setting
• A strong passion to enhance the development of pupils
• An approachable and positive attitude
• Hold relevant qualifications
• Be confident in working 1:1
• Hold a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
• Be able to commute to the L10 area of Liverpool
• Experience working with EYFS
• Be able to start full time work from September 2020
