Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large Nursery chain and are urgently looking for Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioners to support nurseries across The Wirral.
This role suits practitioners looking for flexibility, whether that’s choosing day‑to‑day shifts that fit around other commitments, or securing more regular, longer‑term placements.
The Role
You’ll be working in nursery settings supporting children aged 0–5, helping to create a safe, caring, and engaging environment. This includes:
- Supporting play‑based learning in line with the EYFS
- Helping with daily routines such as play, meals and tidy‑up times
- Supporting children’s social and emotional development
- Working as part of a nursery team
- Building positive relationships with children and staff
You can choose the level of flexibility that works for you. From ad‑hoc shifts to ongoing or longer‑term roles where available.
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll be a good fit if you:
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification
- Have experience in a nursery or Early Years setting
- Are warm, reliable, and confident working with young children
- Understand the EYFS (or are happy to build on your knowledge)
- Are open to flexible or longer‑term work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
