About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about early childhood development and committed to providing high-quality care and education for young children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Support children’s learning and development through play-led learning experiences
• Act as a key person, building secure relationships with assigned children and their families
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, ensuring individual needs are met
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to learning journals using internal systems
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the setting

Daily Responsibilities:

• Facilitate play-led learning to support children’s curiosity, creativity, and development
• Provide high-quality personal care, including nappy changing, toileting, feeding, and supporting independence
• Ensure children’s health, safety, and wellbeing are prioritised at all times
• Follow safeguarding policies and procedures, remaining vigilant and reporting any concerns promptly
• Support positive behaviour and model appropriate social interactions
• Prepare and set up activities, resources, and learning environments throughout the day
• Assist with mealtimes, rest periods, and daily routines
• Use internal systems to log children’s daily information, including meals, sleep, activities, and observations, and share updates with parents/carers

Requirements:

• Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years (e.g., CACHE, NVQ)
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Confident in using digital systems to record children’s development and daily care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for working with children

Desirable:

• Paediatric First Aid certification
• Experience supporting children with SEND
• Knowledge of child development and inclusive practice
