Job description
Nursery Bank Staff Required for Nursery Settings across Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde
- Nursery Assistants required for work in EYFS settings across the Fylde Coast.
- Applicants must have experience working in nurseries, primary settings or with children aged 0-4.
- Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification is essential
Due to an increase in demand, Teaching Personnel are recruiting for EYFS specialists to work as bank staff in nurseries and EYFS settings with in mainstream primary schools on an ADHOC basis starting ASAP.
We are currently looking to recruit proactive, passionate individuals who will support early learners in line with all areas of the EYFS curriculum. The partner nurseries that we work with are looking for Practitioners to work at short notice, in their settings when they have short term/medium term absences. We are also helping with their longer-term staffing so if you are looking for a long-term post that has the potential to go permanent then this could be the perfect opportunity to get your foot in the door.
We are working with Nurseries/EYFS settings in the following areas:
- Blackpool
- Poulton-Le-Fylde
- Fleetwood
- Thornton
- Lytham
To be considered for EYFS support work, you will:
- Have experience supporting learners in the EYFS.
- Understand the EYFS curriculum and the Early Learning goals for children across the EYFS.
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS qualification.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Uphold a professional attitude towards work.
- Have weekly availability (minimum of 3 days per week).
- Be able to accept work and get to schools in your local area at short notice.
Hours with in the EYFS vary from 7AM to 6PM. Usually, you will take on shifts within these hours. The hours and details of each booking will be provided when we initially contact you about the work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
