Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 class at a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Blackpool.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual who is committed to supporting young learners during this crucial stage of their education.

The Role:

• Supporting the class teacher within a Year 1 classroom
• Assisting with the delivery of engaging and structured lessons
• Providing targeted support in early reading and phonics
• Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required
• Promoting positive behaviour and an inclusive learning environment

✅ Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience working with children (essential)
• Previous experience supporting phonics development is highly desirable
• A Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is beneficial
• Passion for working with KS1 pupils and supporting early learning
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
