Early Years Educator in Kensington & in Hammersmith

Two of our lovely schools - one located in Notting Hill and the other in the heart of Hammersmith - are looking to appoint an additional Early Years Educator to their respective teams, to work on a full time and long term/permanent basis.

Minimum qualifications and/or experience : CACHE Level 3 (minimum of full classroom experience of 2 terms) ; Early Years/Education related Degrees (and school based experience/placements) ; Cover Supervisor ; HLTA ; Nursery Nurse

Start date : ASAP (need to be available to Interview on short notice)

The two vacancies will be suitable for qualified Early Years specialists who are friendly, organised and has a strong work ethic. You will need to genuinely love being with children and speak fluent English.

The role in Notting Hill :

The school is located a short walk from Notting Hill Gate station, right beside Portobello Road. It is a state primary school with a very developped Early Years department, committed and friendly staff who are always very supportive and happy to work alongside motivated colleague, old or new! The training provided at the school is very extensive which makes them a great environment to be involved in the further develop existing skills in the education sector. You will need to have a good knowledge of the British Curriculum, have experience with assisting the teacher and be able to cover the class in case of absence. You will be based in the Reception class with 16 children, all very well behaved. You will be working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4pm approximately.

The role in Hammersmith :

The school is part of a federation of state nurseries and pre schools (term time work and regular school working hours) around the Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. This particular school is located a short walk or bus ride from Barons Court, West Kensington and Fulham Cross. You will be working across all Early Years year groups from 0 to 5 years old, providing cover for the Head Teacher who is the lead teacher of the nursery. She would like to work alongside and support a candidate with a strong desire to build a career in education and who is eager to learn and expand their knowledge. You will need to have a good knowledge of the British EYFS Curriculum, have experience with assisting the teacher and be able to cover the class in case of absence. You will be working Monday to Friday from 8:15am to 4.15pm approximately.

- You must be in possession of an up-to-date CHILD WORKFORCE DBS (registered on the Update Service) or willing to apply for one (full assistance provided).

- We are only able to accept applications from UK residents with a proven right to work in the UK. You must living in London and/or have plans to move to London in the near future and/or be willing to travel to Kensington or to Hammersmith.
