Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for recent Science Early Careers Teachers to join one of our client schools in Peterlee. Do you want the flexibility that comes along with working for an agency? Do you want time to practice and prepare for the following academic year?

  • This position will start in September 2024 and is a full-time role.
  • The pay for this position is to scale (£30,000 - £46,525 per annum).

The successful candidate with be working alongside heads of department to deliver academic excellence. You must be fully aware of your specialism’s curriculum, with a real passion for your subject.

 

Requirements

  • It is essential that you are a recent Science ECT, looking to start your career in education.
  • Want the flexibility that comes with agency work.
  • You must be willing to apply for a fully enhanced DBS check and be able to provide at least two employment references.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Teaching KS3 and KS4, to a range of abilities.
  • Plan, deliver and mark lessons to meet the needs of students at various levels of learning across a variety of subjects.
  • Contribute to the departments journey of continually improving results.
  • Array of extracurricular activities to get involved with.
  • Building relationships with the students to be able to support them in their development.
  • Monitoring the progression of the pupils, being able to give feedback to the pupils, the teachers, and their parents.
  • Being aware of all safeguarding procedures and dealing with any situations that may arise.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
