Early Career Teacher (ECT)

About Us:
Teaching Personnel is currently supporting several schools within the Archdiocese of Birmingham. We are working closely with a one-form-entry primary school in Castle Vale, dedicated to fostering a nurturing and dynamic learning environment. With a commitment to providing exceptional education and support for students and staff, we are seeking a passionate and motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their team and contribute to the continued success of the school.
Role Overview:
As an ECT, you will play an integral role in our teaching team, delivering high-quality lessons, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and supporting students in reaching their full potential. You will receive continuous professional development and mentorship from experienced teachers and senior staff to support you through your induction year and beyond. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about education and ready to begin their teaching career in a welcoming and encouraging school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire and motivate students
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall curriculum
- Participate in school-wide events, initiatives, and professional development activities
- Engage with parents and guardians to support student development

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or in the process of obtaining QTS
- A passion for teaching and making a positive impact on students’ lives
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- A positive and flexible attitude
