Primary Schools across Chorley

Pay £90 - £145 per day

All ECTs will be accepted

The Lancashire Primary branches at Teaching Personnel work in partnership with schools across the Lancashire area providing teachers, teaching assistants, learning & SEN support assistants, and other school-based staff members. Schools work directly with the agency in order to source temporary, long term and permanent staff within mainstream primary schools.

Due to the high demand for ECTs last September, Teaching Personnel are delighted to introduce Teaching Personnel's ECT Pool 2023/24. This programme has been reintroduced in order to source early career teachers for schools across the Lancashire area. Last year we received a high volume of calls from client schools in order to source teachers who had recently finished their teacher training programmes to work on a long-term, temporary contract in school (with the potential to apply for a school contract upon successful completion of their induction year). We are looking to register a ‘pool’ of ECTs who are looking to source their first teaching position. We have several schools who have expressed an interest in the programme and are hoping to source a candidate via this method.

Teaching Personnel are seeking ECTs who are:

  • able to inspire and motivate children by providing high quality teaching and learning experiences
  • enthusiastic and creative in their approach
  • keen to contribute to our fantastic schools
  • committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of children
  • able to provide references from teaching placements

By registering with Teaching Personnel, and joining this year's ECT Pool, you will be considered for roles in primary schools across the Lancashire area. The majority of roles will be full-time/long-term, with the view of completing your ECT induction with support throughout the year from a mentor within school.

This programme takes away the challenge for ECTs to find their perfect role, which appears to be the case for many!

Please get in touch now to begin your registration!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
