EYFS Teacher – Maternity Cover (Starting After February Half Term 2026)

Location: Blackpool, FY1
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (Maternity Cover)
Start Date: After February Half Term 2026

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Blackpool (FY1) to cover a maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment where every child’s learning journey matters.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
  • Foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment to support pupils’ development.
  • Work collaboratively with staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for children.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in EYFS or KS1 is essential.
  • Strong understanding of child development and early learning strategies.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
