Drama teacher – Manchester



Teaching Personnel work on the behalf of a Roman Catholic Secondary school in Manchester who have a need for a full time Drama teacher to start in the new academic year. Newly qualified and experienced teachers are welcome to apply.

The Roman Catholic school is situated outside the city centre in Chorlton and is easily accessible via public transport. The school is a smaller than average school and comes under the trusteeship of the Diocese of Salford. The Roman Catholic school has double the national average of students on pupil premium, with more boys at the school than girls. The school has 26.6% of their students with English as an additional language and the successful Drama teacher will hugely benefit from EAL experience. In the most recent Ofsted inspection the Personal development, behaviour and welfare of the Roman Catholic school were graded Good.

The school are looking for a vibrant, enthusiastic Drama teacher who has a passion for teaching. The successful Drama teacher will be working with a faculty who promote Christ like relationships and are looking for a Drama teacher with the same ethos.

• Full time Drama teacher, September start

• Paid on scale to teachers experience

The school encourage the development and progression of their pupils and their faculty and push everyone to become the best versions of their selves. Ideally the Drama teacher will have a DBS on the update service and suitable school based references.
