Job description

Teaching Personnel is looking for a passionate and driven Drama Teacher for a wonderful school in North Bristol for Septemeber however will utilise before the end of the academic year if available!

What are we looking for?

  • Confidence, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching
  • Capable of planning for students from a variety of backgrounds and abilities, and inspiring them to reach their full potential
  • A knowledge and understanding of a range of teaching, learning and behaviour management strategies and know how to use and adapt them to motivate students
  • A track record of positive impact upon student outcomes
  • Excellent subject knowledge
  • Commitment to sharing best practice with colleagues in the department. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of delivering Drama GCSE
  • Suitable school-based references
  • Have and up to date DBS with the Update Service/be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS
  • A willingness to undertake CPD and contribute to the wider school life
  • Be educated to degree level
  • Hold QTS (or an equivalent qualification

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
