Teacher of Design and Technology - Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.  The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

The Role

I am currently assisting my work force partner secondary school in the Bradford BD9 area, in their search to appoint a suitably qualified Teacher of Design and Technology.  You will be required to teach a range of Design Technology subjects to KS3 and KS4 and the position is being offered on a full-time/long term role. 

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and will be able to plan innovative and engaging lessons that will meet the needs of children with a variety of abilities.  You will need to be prepared to plan and mark as you will be teaching KS4 students in preparation for their GCSE Exams.

Requirements

To be considered for the Teacher of Design Technology position, you will:

• Have experience teaching DT subject areas to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 level
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of secondary teachers
• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
• DBS on the update service or be willing to get one
