A large secondary School in Cardiff is working alongside Teaching Personnel to recruit for a long term Design and Technology Teacher role starting in September. This diverse school is looking to appoint someone for this role that has the ability to enhance the current drive and ambition of the department as it grows from strength to strength.

The school has been rated EXCELLENT on their most recent Estyn report and has a strong focus on personal development for their staff.

The right candidate needs to:

-Be a newly or fully qualified D&T Teacher

-Have a strong classroom management style

-Fully understand the curriculum and additional support that may be needed by some pupils

-Adhere to the inclusion for all view of the school

-Possess the health and safety training standards in Design & Technology certificate or equivalent.

-Maintain all equipment and ensure pupils are adequately supervised while using specialist equipment.
