Deputy Manager - Montessori Nursery

About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team, with the opportunity to take on Deputy responsibilities. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the nursery while helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out general nursery duties, including planning and delivering engaging activities, supervising playtimes, and providing high-quality pastoral care

Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are consistently upheld and followed at all times
-
Act as a Key Worker for a group of children, completing observations, assessments, and maintaining learning journeys
-
Work effectively as part of a team, ensuring staff-to-child ratios are maintained at all times
-
Support the Supervisor in a Deputy capacity, assisting with administrative tasks, data collection, and assessments as required
About You

Passionate about working with young children and supporting their development

Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
-
Organised, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team

Confident in taking initiative and supporting leadership when required

- This role is term time only 7.30-3.30pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
