Supply Teaching Assistant for SEN

We are in search of Supply Teachers in the Oxford area to maintain our increasing need for cover on a day-to-day basis. This position is ideal for someone who is looking for flexible yet regular work. Teaching Personnel work with schools in Reading, Newbury, Bracknell and Oxford.

You will be working with children who may display challenging behaviour; however, you will be working alongside a skilled and highly supportive team. The role will involve supporting children in all key stages from primary and secondary with complex learning needs which may include Autism.

The successful candidate will need:

• Able to work under pressure and in stressful situations
• Flexible and creative approach
• Able to give the pupils confidence and encouragement to achieve
• A child workforce DBS on the update service, or one completed through Teaching Personnel
• Ability to recognise and manage challenging behaviour associated with Autism, SEMH and ADHD
• Will be required to have recent experience of the UK curriculum, with SEN experience.

Experience within the SEN sector is an advantage but not essential. The right attitude and personality is what is most important to the School
