About the Role:

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Curriculum Support Assistant to join our supportive team at an excellent high performing school, located in the heart of Morpeth. This is a vital role within the school, providing practical, administrative, and learning support across a range of curriculum areas to help deliver high-quality education for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching staff in preparing and maintaining teaching resources and classroom environments.

• Assist with classroom displays and organisation of materials across different subjects.

• Provide targeted support to small groups or individual pupils under the guidance of teaching staff.

• Support the use of ICT and digital tools in learning environments.

• Supervise pupils during non-classroom times such as lunch or break, if required.

• Help with the organisation of school trips, events, and extracurricular activities.

• Contribute to a positive, safe, and inclusive school environment.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Has a genuine passion for working in education and supporting children’s learning.

• Possesses strong communication and organisational skills.

• Is flexible, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Has good literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills.

• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Desirable:

• Previous experience working in a school or educational setting.

• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or Support qualification).
