Join a vibrant secondary school in Preston, seeking a flexible cover teacher. The successful teacher will be required on a temporary basis on 1-5 days per dependant on staffing requirements in school.

The successful teacher will be responsible for delivering pre set work to classes across the age range in a variety of subjects whilst maintaining a well-managed classroom and positive learning environment. Planning and marking will not be required as all of the relevant work will be pre-set by the absent teacher. We welcome applications from teachers of all subject specialisms.

This role is ideal for a newly qualified teacher, looking to gain experience in a vibrant secondary school or an experienced teacher looking to reduce their timetable and workload. Successful candidates will have access to their own online availability diary and will be able to amend this daily according to their own availability.

This popular secondary school is located in central Preston and has over 600 pupils on roll. Due to its inner city location, the school has excellent connections to universities, employers and a number of fantastic opportunities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
