We’re working with a network of Good and Outstanding secondary schools across Wigan who are seeking Cover Teachers for short-term and long-term assignments.
Position: Cover Teacher (QTS or Cover Supervisor)
Location: Wigan
Contract Type: Flexible Supply / Temp-to-Perm Options
Start Date: Immediate and ongoing
Pay Rate: £120–£180 per day (dependent on experience & role)

About the Role:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects

Maintain good behaviour in the classroom and follow school policies

Step into teacher absence with confidence and professionalism

Work flexibly around your schedule – full and part-time roles available

QTS teachers, ECTs, or experienced cover supervisors

Confident and adaptable individuals with strong classroom presence

Reliable, professional and committed to high-quality teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
