Job description

Teaching Personnel are experiencing very high demand for Cover Supervisors for secondary schools in the Bexhill area. As the education agency of choice for an extensive number of schools, we have a range of daily and short term opportunities available. Many schools are looking to develop a supply of regular, local staff for replacement cover, therefore you will need to quickly establish good working relationships within the teams of various schools.
As a Cover Supervisor you will manage the classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set.
To apply for this position you must:
- either be an experienced Cover Supervisor, or hold a degree in addition to having significant experience of working with young people, ideally in a classroom environment
- have the skills to manage challenging behaviour in the classroom
- be pro-active, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable
- be flexible to work at short notice as and when the need arises.
Teaching Personnel have an unrivalled, fantastic reputation for delivering an exceptional, personal service to our partner schools, teachers and support staff alike. The first to forge real partnerships with schools, we are proud that our company ethos to support our local community in real ways has proved truly beneficial. As part of our commitment to our teachers and support staff we offer some free, ongoing CPD courses. We lead, where others follow.
Teaching Personnel have forged strong partnerships with schools in Bexhill, Battle, Robertsbridge, Cranbrook, Hastings and across West Kent & East Sussex.
