Are you looking for a flexible, Cover Supervisor role?

Teaching Personnel are working alongside several Secondary schools in the Bury region, aiding them in the recruitment of Cover Supervisors. Due to an increased demand for supply staff within our client schools and this being the busiest time of the year for supply work, we are looking to register aspiring Cover Supervisors for a variety of support roles within our client Secondary schools.

A Cover Supervisor role is perfect for individuals whose circumstances can change on a daily basis and therefore, require flexible work. This position is also perfect for candidates who are looking for flexible work alongside an ongoing course or another role.

Application Requirements

  • Any transferrable experience with children/young people is required.
  • Experience with challenging behaviour or SEN is also desirable as these skills will be highly transferrable.

  • Flexible, day to day work available in multiple Secondary schools across Bury.
  • Work available immediately.
  • Earn up to £300 per week, depending on your experience and the roles and responsibilities involved.
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons covering a teacher's absence/sickness.
  • Facilitate learning across varying levels of ability within specific subjects.
  • Gain invaluable experience towards teaching training applications.
  • Opportunity to work with children who can display challenging behaviour or SEN.

Working as a Cover Supervisor in our client school will involve covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of teachers alongside, covering a range of classes in different subject areas with a range of pupils varying in ages (11-16) and ability.

Our client schools are based across the Bury region and are easily accessible via the M66 and A58 from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester. Many of our client schools can also be accessed via several public transportation links within Bury from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.
