Cover Supervisor Yate
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
A large, rural school in South Gloucestershire is looking for a Cover Supervisor to start on a full-time basis after Easter.
A Cover Supervisor is someone who doesn't hold QTS (qualified teachers welcome to apply) who delivers planned work to students and keep them focused whilst the teacher is absent. Essentially you are like an in-house supply teacher. This is the perfect role for the following type of people:
Qualified teachers who enjoy delivering work with no added pressure of planning and assessment (please be aware that this role doesn't pay a teacher rate due to the drop in responsibility)
Non qualified teachers. Maybe someone who has taught in colleges and who wants to break into mainstream schools.
Graduates! ideally with a degree in a subject that is taught in secondary schools. School experience preferred too. This is a perfect segue into education!
If you are interested, please contact me immediately. I look forward to your call
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
