At Teaching Personnel we are looking for a full time cover supervisor to work in one of our client Schools in Crawley. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with both adults and young people and a calm manner. Good organisational skills, the ability to multi task and to act as a positive role model for students are also important.
The school require someone with strong behaviour management skills and someone who can adapt daily to provide sufficient cover across all subjects.
This would be a great role for a graduate that is looking to get into teaching or a teaching assistant that is looking for thier next challenge within Secondary education.
Potential candidates must have experience across most subjects and be able to fully follow lesson plans. The School would like some SEN experience as the school has a high ratio of SEN students. Candidates must be willing to start within the next few weeks and have two recent references.
The cover supervisor will provide support and classroom cover across all Secondary subjects. You should have knowledge of how Secondary schools work and subject knowledge of the core subjects of Maths, Science and English.
All of our teachers and cover supervisor must have a current DBS that is registered to the update service. If this is something you do not currently have full assistance will be provided to help you obtain this.
