Teaching Personnel are looking for a full or part-time Cover Supervisors to work at our client school in Durham, with start dates immediately! 

In this role, you will be tasked with managing behaviour within the classroom and ensuring that pupils complete the work that is set by the Class Teacher. The role will start on a temporary contract in November 2020 with a view to go permanent for the right candidate. The school, based in the outskirts of Durham, enjoys a positive reputation in the local area and has recently seen major improvements in terms of results and behaviour.       

Ideally, you will have a degree or experience dealing with children of a secondary age, however a candidate with a great personality who wants to get into the Education sector will also be considered.

The successful candidate will have:

  • University degree is desired but not essential
  • A DBS (or be willing to get one during registration)
  • Experience working with children within some capacity
  • Passion to support students and the ambition to progress within the education sector
  • A kind, caring personality and great attitude
  • The ability to manage confrontation and challenging behaviour
  • Patience, understanding and empathy with pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
