Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit for an enthusiastic, proactive and eager cover supervisor to work in a variety of secondary schools in and around the Carmarthenshire area’s.
We are due to be extremely busy in the new year with secondary schools having a high demand for additional support.
To apply for this role you’ll need to be a confident individual with excellent classroom management skills, as you’ll often be managing a class of 20-30 pupils and ensuring that the work is set is completed. Teaching Personnel often offer the role to individuals who are willing to go the extra mile and to those who are looking to get the best out of the pupils.
You would need to be well organised and be available to cover any last minute absences between the hours of 08.30am – 15.30pm. The ability to drive and have access to your own vehicle is preferred for this role.
You wouldn’t necessarily need any formal teaching qualifications for this role, the right can do attitude and willing to learn can go a long way!
Ideal Candidate will have:
- Strong classroom management skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Enthusiastic, eager and proactive individual
- Highly organised
- Hold UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle
- Presentable and professional
- Have prior experience supporting adults or children with learning difficulties
- Prior experience in coaching, support work or care
- Excellent communication skills
To Register with Teaching Personnel:
- Need to have an enhanced Child workforce DBS (applications can be done through TP)
- Registered with the EWC (applications can be done through TP)
- Able to commit to school based hours, 08.30am – 15.30pm, Monday – Friday
- Hold UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle
